Susie Woodard
Susie Woodard has been placed as principal. She and her husband(a commissioner) have been at our meetings. I am not sure what is going on and why? We CANNOT stop. I have heard good things about her although she was passed over for the principal position at other schools including the school where she has taught for years. NMS is Becky's school! I will keep you up to date with any new information. Please DO NOT stop fighting for Mrs. Hackett!!!!!!!!!

Im' not ready to give up that Mrs. Hackett will still be our principal next year. She's the only one I can see doing her job effectively. Kellie
Explain to me how someone who has applied for other principal positions in the county,and was overlooked for those, all of a sudden meets New Middleton's criteria. Even Gordonsville, where she has 10+ years as a teacher, filled the position with someone else less qualified. The only one qualified for NMS is MRS.BECKY HACKETT!!!!!
Why is New Middleton being punished? Our children are just as precious as the children at Defeated, Forks River and Gordonsville. This new principal was turned down at each of these schools. I'm sure she is a nice person, but we want an OUTSTANDING PRINCIPAL. We had one- Becky Hackett. Let's keep working!!!

It is hard for me to believe any teacher in Smith County would add insult to injury to Becky Hackett. This is her job! This whole thing has been one of the most heartless things I have ever seen, and to think it happened right here in Smith county. We love you Becky!!!!
